My printer grabs the paper and pulls it in a little bit. when I pull the paper out the bottom right corner is a little crinkled. I have not used the printer very much, 60 pgs max. I turned the printer upside down and shook it in case something fell into it somehow. The paper is new, same stuff I have always used. If it's a mechanical problem how do I get to the problem.

Had the same problem, after reading this thread I hold it upside down and a quarter popped out!!!
I told my wife it was not necesary to put coins in the printer for it to work (joke, I probably threw it in by mistake).
It is a design flaw of the printer, things fall inside because people (including me) leave things on top of the scanner cover, which happened next to the paper feeder.

I have the same exact problem of paper half torn removed but I can not see the other half anywhere. The printer has hardly worked for at the most six pages and now showing paper jam error. How do I fix it?

I had the same exact problem. Get a piece of fine grit sand paper run it though face up a coupe of times. It works!!! My printer now is great. A friend told me this because a printer repair person told her.

This video should help in the installation of the printer that you have...
the video supports more than one model with the one mentioned included...
If the video speed is fast just pause it to your paste...

Hope this resolves that issue...
give it a shot....got nothing to lose, but some inkjet printing to gain...
-To clear a paper jam near the paper tray, grip the paper and pull it firmly but gently from the printer. If you find a stack of papers jammed, grab from the middle of the stack and pull.
-For a rear jam, remove the back of the printer. When you find a free edge on the paper, grip it firmly and pull it out.
-Press the "Resume" button or turn off the printer, and then turn it back on. Your settings should reset.
