Cannot get a charge from the charger. You plug in the charger and it seems to be working but the camera will not turn on like the battery is completely run down. This is a new camera and has not been used but a couple of times.

SOURCE: Ist issue: how

1st- you shouldn't have to do this. Stop filing your nails and you will be able to pry the battery out with a fingernail.

2cnd- I can't decide whether this is a bad battery or a fault with the charger. Either way, the battery won't charge, so you need to buy one or the other new to see which it is. I would say buy the battery first. If it turns out that you need to buy a new charger as well, the battery won't be wasted. You can always use a spare.

3rd- When connected to the computer, most cameras don't do anything much. They are just acting as an external memory drive. All the action is in the computer. Even if you are using them as a webcam, the camera's own screen doesn't need to light up.

Nikon s6300 won't turn on

Coolpix Cameras are tricky to use with chargers. I will assume your USB Charger EH-69P is 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz so it CAN work in many places around the world with an adapter. Do not go over 240V or you could damage it.

These cameras like to have the power supply connected when it is on to charge - meaning if you have it connected and you plug the charger in the wall it will NOT charge. So if you plug the charger in the wall first and then plug the cable in the camera it will work. The camera is actually ON when it charges and I never REMOVE the memory card when it is ON.

When you have a dead battery. Plug the camera in and make sure the ON LED lights and the Charge LED flashes. Then don't mess with it. Let it charge completely (Charge LED stops flashing and is OFF) and then unplug it. It will turn off. Then later you can turn it on.

Not charging Acer Aspire 5732z, now won't turn on!

If it does not work with the Charger while the battery is out then I would say either your charger is bad, the dc power jack where the charger plugs into the laptop is bad or you've got motherboard issues. Does the charger have a light on it to indicate that it is on when plugged in the wall? Do you see any lights when you plug the charger into the laptop?

Take an ink pen and see if the little pin inside the computer where the charger plugs is loose and moves a bit. If so that is probably your problem. If the pin is tight and the charger works, then you've got motherboard issues.

My charger is plugged in to my MSI U130 netbook and in to the wall but is not charging at all. It isn't coming up with the little image to show the charger is plugged in, I have tried plugging the charger...

Charger may be good but the plug going into laptop may not have the power because the wiring is damaged,,Happens with all of the handling it gets for charging and adapter use.

My phone is fairly new ( a few months old) and for some reason the charger wont charge when I plug it in. I've tried unplugging it, putting it in different outlets, taking the battery in and out etc but...

i think your baterry is drained already..try to charge your battery in a universal charger, or a clip charger.then continue charging with your original chargermoz-screenshot.png7bf4754.jpeg

Battery won't charge on my ryobi 14.4v cordless drill yellow and green lights stay on

I had the same problem and found a solution on another forum...
Plug the battery into the charger. The yellow and green lights come on. Leave the battery plugged into the charger. Plug and unplug the charger power cord from it's power source a few times until the the red charger light comes on..... problem solved!

I think the "smart" circuit in the charger that is supposed to trickle charge before the regular charge cycle needs at least some battery power to test and start the cycle. If the battery is totally discharged, the test can't deternine the battery status and will not charge.... Plugging and unplugging the charger seems to bypass this teat and charge the battery normally. The charging process should work normally after this method.

Kyocera Wildcard charger doesnt work.

You can go to your carriers retail store and use one of their chargers for free. Then you can determine if it is the phone or the charger.

Battery charging problem

Seems like it may be your wall charger.
I would inspect your connectors (both charger & phone) as well though (for dirt or debris).
I would also suggest using Motorola's wall chargers, the products seem to charge best with them rather than the after-market knock-offs which also seem to damage the phones connectors on some models.
