Nokia mobile phone PUK code

for at&t users all u have to do because i have a 2610, is call 611 which is customer care and ask for the puk code. they will ask you for your phone #, and possibly your sim card # or your last 4-digits of your social security just for protection reasons. so just be prepared just incase they ask you.

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

write down ur sim number which will be on ur sim card and call up to ur customer care and ask them a puk code they'l ask u the sim no u tell them thats it ... and if u r thinkin how to call to customer care without unblocking the phone .. u gotta use other cellphone of the same network u using to call customer care ... not to worry

Complete information :
The SIM card protects your subscription and not the phone from unauthorised users. If you change SIM cards you can still use your phone with a new SIM card. Most SIM cards are blocked at the time of purchase. If your SIM card lock is on you have to enter your PIN (Personal Identity Card) every time you turn on the phone.

If you enter the wrong password three times in a row the SIM card gets blocked. This is indicated by the message PIN Blocked To unblock this you need to enter your PUK

Note:
card (Personal Unblocking Key). Your PIN and PUK is supplied by your service provider. You can edit your PIN and select a new four to eight digit number

• If the Message Codes do not match appears when you edit your PIN you entered the new PIN incorrectly.
• If the message Wrong PIN followed by Old PIN appears then it means that you have entered the old PIN incorrectly.
  

To unblock your SIM card:

1. When PIN Blocked appears enter your PUK > OK
2. Enter a new four to eight PIN > OK
3. Re-enter the new PIN to confirm > OK
   

To edit your PIN:

1. > Settings > the General tab > Security > Locks > SIM Protection > Change PIN
2. Enter your PIN > OK
3. Enter a new four to eight digit PIN to confirm > OK
   

To turn the SIM card On /Off

1. > Settings > the General tab > Security > Locks > SIM Protection > Protection and select On or Off
2. Enter your PIN > OK

turn on phone...it will ask for PIN code if you got it wrong 3 times then it will ask for PUK code which means (Personal Unblocking Code) and that is security stuff. to find the PUK code you have to turn the back of your first sim card and there should be an 8 digit number...enter the code... it will ask you for a new PIN code...and i think you have to make one? hope it helped?

My PUK number had been lose,but my sim already lock and want me to use the PUK number.Can you solve this problem for me?I want the PUK number hurry!!!!!

Ok people, I recently posted a help thing for my phone, but it's fixed, and here's how, on your SIM card on the back there are digits try placing those in. ( With PUK you get unlimited tries). OR ( this is the one that worked for me) CALL YOU SERVICE PROVIDER. ( rogers, Bell, Virgin...etc) and ask for your PUK. And they HAVE to give it to you. and if they cant help, call for there manager or somethin. HOPE THIS HELPS.
