Curser problems and more!

The cuser jumps around at will.
The pages keep jumping to the bottom. Arrow up and i fight with it to stay up at the top of page.
The space bar sometimes doesn't work.
Difficult to type. I try to click on something in the middle of a sentance and the guide vertical line scrolls over to the right of the sentance. Sometimes scrolls over each line all the way to the bottom of the page uncontrollably.

My curser jumps all around the screen when I am typing, how do I make it stop

hi...

thats normal on many laptops... even on my Dell and Lenovo...

the trick is to disable the Trackpad when typing...

1) Click Fn + F3 keys together to disable the trackpad and then type
2) Click Fn + F3 keys together to re enable the trackpad and then type
3) Buy an external Keyboard and Mouse (Wireless one) and use them (I do the same)
4) if you have trackpad drivers & application installed then adjust the sensitivity of trackpad on it

Thanks,

While typing on Acer Aspire the typing jumps around constantly...why?

Most of the time disabling the tapping for the touchpad solves the problem. Go to settings and disable the tapping for the touchpad, not the touchpad itself, just the tapping.

Saving a web page into a lexar jump drive.

To save a web page in Internet Explorer, go to that page and click File, then "Save As." In the box that pops up, use the My Computer link on the left to navigate to where your jump drive is, or click the down arrow next to the current folder at the top of the box. Once you've gotten to your jump drive and selected it, click the drop down box next to "Save as type" at the bottom of the box and choose "Webpage, complete." Then click Save.

To save a web page in Firefox, go to the page you want to save, and under the File menu, choose "Save Page As." When the dialog box comes up, click My Computer on the left, or click the arrow at the top next to the current folder, and navigate to your jump drive. "Web page, complete" should be the default selection for "Save as type" -- if it's not, select it from the drop down box. Then click Save.

Web pages typically save as many files within a folder, so if you accidentally delete or move any of those files, reloading the web page might not work.

HP Optical Mouse Curser jumps around

I respectfully disagree with amusedgeek. He is correct aout the textured surface, though.Optical mice will take snapshots many times a second and reposition the cursor according to where the pattern was last. Rather than a single color, a pattern is your best bet for an optical mouse. The only thing I recommend is to make sure the mousepad isn't reflective at all- no glossy or semi-glossy surface. You want it to be non-reflective. Just to be sure there is nothing wrong with the mouse, you can test it simply by putting it on a newspaper and scrolling around.
