Yes, it is 2.5 but most guides say to replace it with an 850mA fuse, or something at least under 2A.

Good Luck!

intermittents are sometimes hard to diagnose out !! and this seems as one , im curious though what made them wiggle the relays and fuses ?? was there a previous problem there ?? depending on year of manufacture of car , is weather or not the cars own pcu can help diagnose what made car stop , as later models "remember " what there last condition was that shut off engine , of course this requires diagnostic equipment to see this info that typically car owners don't own , but a qualified service tech does and knows how to use it to find your problem

My Mach 1 electric scooter Is a 2 pin European plug so what fuse sicker would I need to get without them burning out 13 amp plug ok or .

It is usual practice to cut off the European plug and fit a British 13 amp plug even though adapters are available. The charger isn't likely to require much current so fitting a 3 amp fuse should be ok. If you discover the plug or the positive pin is becoming warm after some time you could increase the fuse rating to 5 amp, though I doubt it will be necessary.

A slide got stuck in the projector, and when I took it out the projector just died. No power. Any ideas about what's happened? Thanks

If this is a Kodak Slide Projector, there are 2 thermal fuses (1 is in the motor and NOT replaceable and 1 is in the area of the lamp). Almost ALL Kodak projectors had 2 thermal fuses as described. You need to determine the model, as that will determine which fuse or motor assembly you will have to buy & install to fix your projector. If its a Kodak, let me know the model and I can help you further! You can buy parts for Kodak projectors at: www.micro-tools.com.
Good Luck! Jim

1993 Ford Bronco #8 fuse keeps blowing. Then dash lights work but won't start...

The number 8 fuse is the courtesy light that is part of the cigarette lighter, the horn, this has nothing for the power management,You have the famous TFI ignition module for its no spark condition, there should be on some year models a ballast resistor, these dont really go out but they were installed to protect the coil for over voltage,it is slim that this is the problem but you still need to make sure voltage goes through it.its just a resistor, then you have the pick up coil which is inside the distributor,so mainly 2 componenet of sometimes start TFI which is on the side of the distributor, and pick up which is in the distributor,Do the most famous failure of them all the TFI module

87, 2.9L, 5spd ranger. I would like to know if u can

The TFI ignition module is mounted to the side of the distributor two 7/32" machine screws hold it on, requires a special tool to remove it. Our fuse box diagrams only go back to 1996 model year.

1994 Grand Cherokee, 5.2 V8 shuts off when hot. Cool for an hour or 2, starts up ok for a half hour or so, then dies again. No trouble codes except 12 and 55; I pulled fuses to check them, hence the code...

Your engine computer is bad. It's a good thing that you mentioned about the check engine light dying also, as this is a classic sign of a bad ecm. I have repaired more than one of these Jeep computers, replacing the three power capacitors located inside the computer, and they have worked for years afterwards. If you don't have the skills or knowledge to repair the ecm, get yourself a rebuilt ecm unit and swap it out.

Will not power on

Check the main A/C fuse. These sets are famous for blowing the fuse. It is usually a 6.3 amp. Look at fuse to confirm size. Thanks for using fixya.

LTX1000 42" 18HP Kohler - Blowing fuse after 2-4 min mowing.

sounds as though you are on the right track
but be sure to check the wiring directly from the electric clutch on the front of the motor back to the switch
a wire could be pinched in the frame and shorting out intermittingly
look around and find those wires and move them around and look for chaffing and tightness
and what you could also do is to unhook the clutch at the connection to it at the front of the motor and engage switch and ride around and see if fuse blows and if not you may have an electric clutch issue
