just bought Zune hd 32gb the day it came out. Now i cant seem to get it to turn on. i know its charged and my computer that has my zune software wont recognize my device either. Any ideas, i love this device and would hate to have to return it

You must get rid of any old Zune software you have, download the new version (V4), install the new zune software, then connect...viola problem solved
..As far as the charging.....try using the wall charger instead of the USB, that will probably work untill you get computer to "hook" to the Zune.

Try to search for a button combination that let's you hard reset, try to connect it to different computers. If Microsoft doesn't want to take it back there are third party place for Zune HD Repair.
