When turning on the laptop it goes to the Dell screen and stops with the "loading bar" at about 75%. When I push F12 it says "preparing one time boot menu" but goes no farther to choose...

This is your BIOS ( Basic Input Output System) screen. Before the computer loads the Operating system it checks to see if all the devices are there and ready. If the laptop hangs at that point, you might have a problem with your hard drive or CD/DVD drive. Try removing the drives and see if you get past that screen. My Averatec 2500 screen blanks if I open computer past 45 degrees, if I start closing it again it comes back on.

The "data" cable between the motherboard and the LCD screen is probably loose, and "flexing" it connects/disconnects it.
Take the computer to a qualified technician, since opening-up your laptop is not something for a novice to try.

Very low flame, like very little gas is getting thru, tank is ful

Okay, what you are dealing with is called "vapor-lock". The way these grills need to be turned off is, close the tank valve first and after the burners go out, then turn the burners off. The way you are doing it is trapping the gas and you are getting a weak flame. Fortunately this is an easy fix. First, light the grill by turning the gas valve open, then turn the burners on to light the soon as that is done, close the gas valve on the tank then turn the burners off. Repeat this procedure until you get a good flame. If this procedure hasn't fixed the problem after the third time, you need a new regulator and regulators are easy to find in any home improvement store like Lowe's or Home Depot.

What is the difference in temperature controllers between a fridge & a freezer? Can they be interchanged?

Refrigerator and freezer temperature controller can-not be interchanged (normally). They have a designed range of operation. Such as...say the refrigerator thermostat has a range of 45 degress at the warm setting and 33 degress set at maximum cold. This would never work for the freezer. Some electronic devices have ways to change their setting range but that is specific for each control.

How do i set the timing in a 94 s10 4.3

Motor off , find and remove the #1 plug wire end and position it so you can hear the spark snap as it goes past the timing mark. Now back it up at bit say 2 degress and tighten it down. Of course you could doit with a timing lite quicker and they are really cheap now days . Good luck

Laptop screen problem

Sounds like a loose connection, you will have to get the repair manual and try to fix it yourself if u don't want to take it to a shop.

Screen problem

Perhaps your connections on the inside have come loose. It may warrant you take it to a specialist to check it over before it gets any worse. Some other person was on here some time ago who had a similar problem and all it was is the switch in the lid. Apparently they tinkered with it by just kept on pushing it back and forwards as if to continue to open it and it came right they tell me that they hardly used it thats why!.
