Did you follow the instructions to the letter? Sometimes there are many different ways to install software, as windows will prompt you as well as the software installation procedure.
You need to read the installation procedure carefully and follow it to the letter. If that does not work, throw it in the bin and buy a memory stick. They are very cheap now and will hold many more than 48 photos, and they are tiny!!
I bought a bluetooth reciever and tried to install it many times. It never worked, and because it was so cheap I threw it out. Sometimes this is the only choice.

SOURCE: digital keychain
On the box I have for SKU 77275 it says Install disk - Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/MAC OS 10.0
I dont think it will work for Vista. But dont feel bad.. I have XP and cant get it to work either.

Tips for a great answer:
you might have finalised the disk after its burn or
you need to choose to burn a multisession disc so you can add more photos or to finalize the disc after the burn if the burning software supports multisession
you can add these photos on at a time or select the folder to add
your burning software might not have the capability of a multisession burn
hope this helps
