Question about Televison & Video
a) your 50DX01B TV might be having a component failure .
b) typical voltages and test points are stated in the service manual,
have someone helped you measure output voltages first on the
power supply unit.
c) if you intend to " DIY " the service manual can be accessed,
d) it doesn't necessarily mean to get it but if we ever have a hard
time pointing out, where the problem might be, we will be all
basing on the specs of the service manual.
e) if it is totally having no power then most probably , it is on the
power supply, a good visual and voltage measurement is
needed to complete the initial diagnosis of your TV.
f) one such example is having a burnt components, please
include the chassis number so that i can help you more.
or describe the components if you have saw it failed.

The power supply will have to be replaced. You can test it if you wish with a voltmeter and the wires from power supply to circuit board. Should be between 12-13.5. too high or too low is bad.
