Re: xbox live

Well if you have wireless in your house hold you can or have to get the xbox 360 wireless which cost 100.00 at wal-mart. if you have a router that you can hook up a lan ethernet jack from the router to the back of the 360 that is your better bet. you wont have to worry about getting disconnected or anything like that.

i would sueest buying a 100 foot eithernet cable. this dont run cheap. at staples you looking at 40.00 or so, you can get one on ebay for abour 15 and that cover shipping.

with the 100foot you dont have to worry about were you have to put your 360.

A couple of years ago I purchased the downloaded version of NHL 2009 which I know longer have; so how do i go about getting the file so I can redown load it?

You didn't mention how you downloaded it. PSN store? Xbox marketplace? what?

If you are talking about xbox live marketplace then follow these instructions:

View your download history and download content again You can view a list of what you've downloaded from Xbox LIVE on your console or your computer. You can choose to download an item again (if needed) for no additional charge. Here's how:
On your console
  1. On your console, sign in to Xbox LIVE using the gamertag that you used when you originally purchased the content.
  2. Go to My Xbox, and then select your avatar.
  3. Go to Account Management, and then select Manage Account.
  4. Select Download History.
  5. Browse your download history. If you want to download something again, select the item, and then select Download Again.
Note If you want to see the charges on your Xbox LIVE account, please see Check your Xbox LIVE bill and download history.
On your computer
  1. To see your download history, go to and sign in with your Windows Live ID (email and password).
  2. Browse your download history. If you want to download something again, click Add to queue. This adds the item to your console's download queue.
  3. Turn on your console and connect to Xbox LIVE. The items will begin downloading.
Note Downloading previously purchased content to a different Xbox 360 console does not transfer the content's license. If you want to use content without signing in to Xbox LIVE, you must transfer the content license to the console. Learn how to transfer content licenses.

Hey, I am a mom with no idea what I need to get to set up xbox live. We have an xbox 360 but have no clue what I need to purchase to have xbox live

first off you need an xbox live subscription to use xbox live. Also I am assuming you have a broadband connection. So the best way is to purchase a router and then hook up your computers and xbox to that router via ethernet cable. Here are two links that should help you:

Thank you,

I want to go on the internet through my xbox but dont know wat to go on to do it my xobox is connected to a network just not sure wat to go on

If you're talking about browsing the internet (like checking your email or going on websites), you can't do that with the Xbox 360. If you mean going onto the Xbox 360 online community known as Xbox Live then you need to register a gamertag (meaning your login/display name) from your Xbox menu.

I have an old xbox how do i go live how do i get my subscription i want two download music on two my laptop and i ned subscription code

To go live you must have a RJ-45 (ethernet) Cable in the back of the xbox hooked up to a router or modem, or even a seperate port on your computer. Once it is connected, on the xbox dashboard go to Xbox Live. There you can sign up and buy a subscription with your credit card. If you feel uncomfortable purchasing items online with your credit card, you can go to local game store which would probably be selling a 12 month card for 49.99.

Xbox 360 wont connect xbox live

Your xbox live membership may have run out. i had the same problem yesterday as mine had expired. The automatic renewal had not taken place as my credit card details were out of date.

You can check your xbox membership status via your PC at log in woith your email address and password you supplied at the time you initially joined xbox live.
