Question about Clarion ADX5355

ADX5355 clock I can not find a manual for this unit anywhere.  It is a Addzest/Clarion ADX5355 double din tape/cd unit.  I would like to locate a full manual but would be more than happy just know how to set the clock.  I have tried all the key combinations that I can think of.  Please help.

You just have to turn the power on, push the display button so the time is showing on the display. (The only buttons involved are the "BAND" button, the number 4 roulette button which is the top right station preset button and the "DISPLAY" button.) I think you push and hold the BAND button and while holding it push the number 4 roulette button. (you don't have to hold it for any specific time you just have to push BAND in when you push the number 4 roulette button.) the time will flash and you use the vol/seek knob to adjust the time. When done push the BAND button again.
=> This really work, thanks!

AFTER REPLACEING CAR BATTERY...MY STEREO ADDZEST..WONT WORK...AS IN DEAD

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.

Does this unit fit into a 2007 montana van

This unit will fit into your van. There will be extra space in the dash after you install it. The standard measurement technique for head units is DIN. A single-DIN unit is the normal size of a head unit. Your stock unit is a double-DIN unit. The Clarion NZ500 is a single-DIN. It will fit, with space to spare.

THE CLARION CX609 WONT FIT IN MY 2001 CROWN VIC. ANY SUGGESTIONS BESIDES BUYING A DIFFERENT RECEIVER. WILLING BUT REALLY DONT WANNA

That is going to be a touch install if memory serves as your vehicle is not double din. Much easier to sell that and get a single din radio and install kit.

Clarion ADX 5355 Addzest, fm freq won't go past 90, clock reset

This is a unit for the japanese market and they only use bands 79 to 90. You can install an FM band expander, available on Ebay for about £5, and get loads more stations. The expander is easy to fit if you can get to the back of the radio, it fits in the aerial lead and needs a 12 volt connection. Some people reckon they work well others don't rate them, probably worth a try at the price they are.

Hybrid navigation/tv package nva9400f

I might be able to help you with this. The Addzest Navigation system you have is similar to the Clarion NAX9500E. I have some bits off an Addzest NVA9400F and I bought a second-hand Clarion NAX9500E sat nav system. I have pdf's of the Clarion system that would enable you to get yours running.
I was able to get my Addzest system running but it is all in Japanese and I don't think you can change the language unless you know more than me. I hit the reset button but still in Japanes.
That's why I got the Clarion system instead and salvaged some of the Addzest leads.
My email is dazliggett@yahoo.co.uk if you want me to email you the user and wiring intructions for the similar Clarion Navigation unit.
It is a pitty that I wasn't able to use the Addzest navigation system but hopefully I can still use the
7" monitor.

If you still have the Addzest equipment I was wondering if you would sell me the lead that connects the 7" monitor to the Navigation sytems as I wanted to use that it as a rear monitor.

Hope to hear from you on what you decide as I haven't had much luck finding a lead for my monitor as the Clarion one is the same size but different pin configeration

thanks
Darren Liggett
