You will find winterizing plugs on both water headers on the bottom side of the headers. Simpley remove these when you remove your other plugs on your pump and filter. Then store in a safe place for next season.

How do i winterize my pool

Remove all drain plugs, open any valve you can and have. split apart any union, and depending on the part of the country you live in, the permafrost is a factor. If you freeze below ground, then you will also need to empty your pool down below the lowest inlet fitting and then blow the water out of the lines.
Once clear of excess water, plug the holes so rain water does not refill them!
  • heater will have 2-4 drain/winter plugs
    • also remove the pressure switch
  • pump will normally have 2 plugs
    • Open & remove lid from hair & lint pot
  • Pool sweep booster pump has 1 plug
Any low spots in the plumbing will trap water in them. Drill & tap a hole - 1/4" Normal pipe thread - that is the most common size of a winterizing drain plug. Others may just cut the pipe right at the lowest spot and glue in a union for future winterizing.

2002 malibu will not start when cold. After it starts by priming it then starts fine.

ever tune it up, try new spark plugs. gapped to spec.
starts fine and runs fine, not said the latter....????

Cold starts are the hardest, takes
these things to start good. cold.
1: go winter fuel (if cold out, isit? then winter fuel works best)
2: a good engine and good spark plugs, (hot spark)
3: good cold start fueling,
to get #3 the modern car 89- now. needs a working and accurate
ECT sensor, this tells the ECU exactly how much fuel to use.
if the ECT reads warming than REALITY, the fueling will be weak
and may not start or stall fast.

no location stated, nor if car is a daily driver, that is fresh fuel
every week,,,,

Id like to winterize mine don't see spark plugs are they under cover and is it simple to take off

No need to remove plugs, really no need to do anything to it but add fuel stabilizer, remove battery, spray engine down with some WD40 and make sure you blow all the water out of the exhaust system.

In my 1997 Sunfire the air conditioning doesn't work. It blows hot. It's been converted and those coolant cans have been added but they don't make it cold. The heat works in the winter. The compressor...

There is nothing either of you can do

To work on any A/C system, not just cars ,you
need training, knowledge & the proper equipment

You need a repair shop to look it over, leak test the
system,remove all refrigerant,pull a deep vacuum &
properly recharge

Right now you have all sorts of issues & air in the system
& people that have played with & ruined it so it won't work
as is

Need to change the engine coolant temp sensor, Where is it and what are the steps to changing it.

Heed of engine temperature!!! (Wait for engine cooling).
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor is placed on back of cylinder head, towards clutch side. Disconnect the electrical cable plug and remove the fastening circlip. Remove the ECT sensor by pulling out from cylinder head. Extract also old "O-ring" sealing rubber. Install new ECT sensor with new "O-ring" sealing rubber.

Please rate my response. Thanks!
