Question about IBM ThinkPad R40 2722 Notebook
I have a R40 with a DVD Burner. It was working fine up untill a few weeks ago. Now it only reads and burns CD'S. It will not read any DVD'S that I try. I have checked through the device manager and it says it is working correctly! Will it help if I try and find another driver for it?
Unable to read a CD-R or other recordable disc.

Computer CD-ROM drive help and technical information. However, DVD-RAM discs cannot be read by standard DVD-ROM drives because of the differences in both reflectivity of the medium and the data format.
