Question about Xerox WorkCentre XD100 All-In-One Laser Printer

We have a Xerox XD100 photocopier and we have a problem which according to our copier is ''J2'' - as we have lost our manual, we do not know what this means. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it

J2 means your drum has reached the end of life. It is a good idea to replace it rather than try odd things to reset it. Staples, Office Depot etc have those.
The drum and cleaning blades are pretty worn out by the time the light comes on.
Best place overall to order from online would be a business called "the parts drop". Google it and call Britt.

Xerox Work Centre XD120f - J2 error message. Lost manual need new one.


J2 means the drum unit has reached the end of its life. You need to replace it.
Staples . office max etc normally has them in stock.
If not google a company called The Parts Drop.
They will have what you need also.

J2, toner low, but powder in toner cartg. Remove


All this means is that your toner is getting low and advising you before it is out completly the it needs replacing.

Xerox XD100 that is showing a code J2


No. The CRUM is integral to the Drum Cartridge. The only way would be to swap CRUM from a cartridge that failed for a reason other that it reached end of life.

Go to www.xerox.com, then click on support and drivers, then enter xd100 in the search box, then go to the drivers page and download the newest driver.

CLEAR J2 CODE


Hello sir; After replaced drum need to reset the counter,the procedure as follow;
1, press "clear", "Exposure","clear" "exposure" keys.
2, enter 24, press print key.
it should remove J2.

J1 Error, Changed a brand new factory-sealed toner, still getting J1 Error


Make sure you have the right code: J1 or J2.
one is for the drum and the other is for the ink.
Make sure the toner unit is for this model and not for a different model.
If the old modual is still available, check the connectors at the back and see if they are the same.
If anything else Call Xerox for repair. If the cartridge was bought through Xerox have your reciete available for warrenty.
If repairs still need to be made, A Xerox service call may be needed in order to fully repair the copier and warrenty the cartridge.

Copies are light color and l like to know how to get darker


MOst likely the drum cart is the issue. There is a fine charge wire and grid on top of that cartridge that probably is going bad.

J2 Error


check for a paper jam in the machine and in the paper tray, if no paper is found take out toner cartridge shake it slightly and reinstall. Also turn machine off & unplug. Let me know if you need more help.
