Question about Televison & Video
I have a toshiba 32 inch 1997 tv. When I turn it on it is orange and then it goes half screen for another 5 seconds and turns off on its own. Does it mean that the picture tube is burnt out? Toshiba TV CN32G90
It sounds like the picture tube may be weak (because it's orange) but it going to half ascreen is not caused by the picture tube but likely a vertical circuit problem. If this problem happened suddenly (going orange) then the picture tube is probably good and at least worth bringing in for an estimate.
