Maybe the CD is not an original CD, insert and original CD to boot from......some CD's are counterfeited so for all PC their are codes that they udentify in order to reboot...have come across this problem more then u can imagine....i used an original SP1 XP CD to boot when finished, i insert a copy of an already activated version of windows then boot from the desktop then restart...
