Question about Samsung SyncMaster 710N 17" LCD Monitor
Have you checked the caps in the power supply? Open the unit up and find the power supply, look at the top of the caps to see if any are bulging on top. If they are replace them. You can usually get these at radio shack. If they are 16v go to 25v,if 25 go to 35v. Keep the same mfd rating. Some caps they put in at the factory are under rated. They can't take the surge at start up and soon **** out. All of this of course is based on your understanding of electronics? Hope this helps.
