Samsung LCD TV slow to start

Our Samsung LN-T4066F LCD high definition TV is slow to start in the morning. After making clicking noises for several minutes, it finally comes on with purple dots all over the screen. When I turn the TV off and restart it several minutes later, it usually comes on quicker and with no purple dots. What can I do to resolve this situation?

Clicking noises before TV turns on.

The clicking noise is coming from the power supply relay. Is makes this sound when the TV is usually turned on or off but has become faulty. It will only get worse over time usually until the TV will no longer turn on anymore. You need to replace the power supply in order to fix the TV.

When I try to turn on my Samsung LN-T4042H LCD HDTV it is now constantly clicking in a continuous loop and will not immediately turn on. It started out small- a few clicks yesterday morning. Today it...

There is a problem with the power supply in your TV. The regulator switch is causing teh clicking sound you hear. In order to fix it, you will need to replace the power supply. This is done by taking off the back cover of the TV, locating the power supply which is usually a yellow board that will have many high voltage capicators on it and replacing it with a new one.
