Question about Computers & Internet
If you check your BIOS you may well find that you have WOL (wake on lan) turned on.
Most computers will allow themselves to be turned on if say a fax is coming in to a fax moderm in your computer or if they are requested to wake up by a remote computer.
It has been known for soma routers and DSL/CABLE modems to also cause this activity if the bios is not sett correctly.
Hope this is of use and if you have any further questions feel free to ask.
