Question about Whirlpool GBS307PDS Electric Single Oven
The oven when turned on after the cleaning cycle does not produce heat. It starts a preheat cycle with a few clicks audible but no heat to either element. I turned off the breaker to the oven with now help... Any assistance would be great. RL
SOURCE: Oven not heating
Gallow, Whirlpool put out a service flash on this model concerning the TCO located in the back. Regarding oven wont heat up, control panel normal. It has to do with the TCO (thermostat fuse) located just under the vent in back and it's tripping. Since you had the elements checked out, Im suspecting this TCO. Usually when these thermostats open, they are non resetable and you don't have any heat at all. The best thing to do is check this TCO with a meter. If it shows open, thats probably the culprit. They recommend moving the new TCO over to the left about 6 inches so it is not directly under the vent. You are going to need help pulling the built in out just far enough to get at the TCO. The part number for it is 4450934. The service flash is 22-647. Catriver...post back.

If the fan is working o/k, then you need to fit a new oven element, located at rear of oven behind removeable cover.

There is a thermal fuse mounted on the back of the oven that feeds power to both elements. This fuse has open up. The control panel gets power via a different path and still lights up.
