Try this ... Take a clear bag that you can get both hands in and still work. Take just your lock (not the whole door handle) and a screw driver into the bag and remove the the cover plate that keeps the springs in place ( being careful not to damage it ) it will slide off or will pop off. The bag catches all the springs and pins that will fly. Just dump in to the bag.
Now just re key and replace the top pins, springs and cover plate.
