Question about Saeco Starbucks Sirena Espresso Machine

1 Answer

Serina espresso machine water low light won't quit blinking

I changed the water in my espresso machine, and now the water low light won't keep blinking! I have rubbed a magnet on the side of the reservoir and the indicator magnet moves up and down freely, when I add water it rises to the top like always. I have dried and cleaned all parts (that I know of) and still no luck. I have also read to "prime" the machine again - bu t none of the buttons light up for me to do this. This is to $$$ of a machine to only have a life of months and not years! Any suggestions would be great.

I can not get out of descaling mode. I turn it of, unplug it, went into programing mode. Is there a way to reset it? Thanks

If you are talking about the descale light, you must let the machine quit on its own. The pump has to stop on its own. Any interruption (you stopping the machine) will keep it in the descale mode. Once it stops on its own, the lights will change. Then do the rinse by replacing the water in the tank and closing and then reopening the steam knob and again letting the machine quit on its own. Again the lights will change. Then repeat the last cycle (putting water in the tank and closing and then reopening the steam knob)until all the red lights go away and you only have a green blinking light. Now your finished descaling a compact without a digital display.

Brew light blinking

It is telling you that the temp on the machine is too low. It is possible that one of the thermostats on the boiler is damaged.

Blinking small red light.

I had that problem, it is the filetr reminder. I used Reverse Osmosis water so I dont use a =fileter, but the machine doesn't know that. If I recall the manual was wrong on which button to push an hold. I dont remember which was was right (could be the steam button). but one of them does make the light go out in about 5-10 sec.
