-Press Magnifying glass (Search Button) then search for Market (in your results the one youar elloking for should say Application under it)
-select Market application
-takes you to andorid market, where you can see apps, games downloads
-click Downloads tab
-find aHome and select it
-choose to uninstall or update ahome

I also had the same problem till just a minute ago as I, too own the aHome app and have it as my default home.

What hooey09 mentions does work but unfortunately for me I already had the Myspace app on my phone **and this is for the users that already have the myspace app** thanks hooey09 as you got me to the next part:

as mentioned by hooey09 click the magnifying glass button and search for something like facebook or pandora as they too have apps or search for market.android.com and downloadable apps that you may not have and will need to download in order to proceed.

Once you select to download and the app asks to download click on Downloads and you can then choose to update aHome <- which was updated not too long ago or just uninstall it

BTW - The aHome 3.0 update that was updated not too long ago works perfectly with the new update for the G1. Hope this helps
