MLB 07 Will not load.

Is your CD dirty or does it have any cracks? It might just be the problem. Otherwise, it could be corrupt game data. Clean the disc, if it still doesn't work I'd try deleting the game utility data and re-downloading it. Hope this helps in some way or another.

Hi if you go onto the ps3 website and down load the update onto a usb stick then re-install it again the chances are when you was downloading the update the 1st time you got cut off due to the maintenance the ps3 network was having and this has caused corrupt data on your hard drive so give that a try failing that you will need to get your hard drive formated and start again from scratch, you will lost everything on your hard drive though so be warned

BUT I have the exact problem with call of duty world at war

Make sure both the game and system software are updated. The game will prompt you to update when you first start the game. To update the PS3 Software, go to the [Settings] menu and select [System Update]. Then give it another go.

Same thing happens on mine. It sucks. One thing you can do though is unplug your internet connection then play. It will play then but with no internet capabilities

there is a bug in this game where sometimes it freeses at the load screen and will get stuck. you will have to reload it.

Most likely the servers that are running the game are down for any reason. Some older games on the PSP or PS3 have had their servers shut down permanently but since your game is an 07 it should just be maintenance for about 24-48 Hours.

It seems that your system is having trouble writing data to the HDD. Have you tried switching hard drives with your brother? It can be a corrupt sector or the entire disk. Try to format the disk and try again or switch your hard drive with your brother's or if you have the cash, buy a new hard drive for your ps3. Regards. Hope it helps.

PS: If you try using your brother's hard drive in your PS3 you will have to format it so I suggest you do a backup.

Apparently the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed freezes the PS3 but this only happens at certain points in the game where a load happens. I don't think this is the case for you since you're saying that it doesn't even load the game.

Secondly, what do you have it connected to? SDTV or HDTV? Sometimes if the signal selected is not supported by the TV, it will not show anything.

Lastly, I would try to perform a system update by connected it to the Internet. This will download firmware 2.00 and might be able to help aleviate your issues.
