If one of the buttons on the keypad has a small padlock symbol beside it, try holding the button down for about 5 seconds or so. If that doesn't work, you can email me the full model number at info@fixyourboard.com and I'll try to locate the correct info for you.
Sometimes there is a combination of buttons to cancel this feature.

Best Regards,

Blomberg BEP 906. After power went out a couple

Hello.

When baking or cooking common foods in your oven, it is important that the oven heats to the proper temperature. Otherwise, the food in your oven could become over- or undercooked. The electric ovens are able to be calibrated if only slightly off, however, if the temperature is 25 degrees off or more, you should replace the oven sensor. The oven sensor is the device in the oven the detects the temperature. The control board increases or decreases the oven temperature, depending on the oven sensor reading. Before calling a repair technician, attempt to calibrate your oven or change the oven sensor.

Instruction

1 Turn on the oven and set the temperature to a medium-heat setting, such as 350 degrees.

2 Allow the oven to preheat and then open the door and insert the oven thermometer.

3 Allow the oven thermometer to remain in the oven for a few minutes and the look at the temperature reading, comparing it to the oven temperature setting.

4 Recalibrate the oven if the temperature is only slightly off, or replace the oven sensor if the temperature is greatly off, such as 25 degrees or more.

Calibrating the Oven

1 Turn off the oven to prior to calibrating.
2 Press and hold the "Bake" button until the calibration settings are displayed on the display.

3 Use the arrow buttons or "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the temperature the number of degrees that the oven is out of calibration.

4 Press the "Start" button to save the calibration settings.

Replacing the Oven Sensor

1 Unplug the oven from the wall or cut the power to the oven in your breaker panel.

2 Open the oven door and remove the oven racks.

3 Locate the oven sensor, located at the top-center of the rear oven wall.

4 Remove the mounting screw securing the oven sensor to the wall and then pull the oven sensor away from the wall.

5 Remove the cable connected to the terminal on the rear of the oven sensor and then discard the oven sensor.

6 Connect the cable to the terminal on the new oven sensor and then reposition the oven sensor and secure it using the mounting screw.

7 Replace the oven racks and then restore power to the oven.

Thanks.

No power to Magic Chef Electric oven

I'm not familiar with this oven, but it ought to have protection against this kind of exciting burn-out.
This could be a fuse: find it and replace it, or it could be a circuit breaker: look for a reset button.
As I said, I don't know this oven; this attempt to help is based on the general idea that it ought to have some built in protection.

Our Dacor Millennia wall oven will not heat

There is a manual reset button behind the vent under the touch pad. Turn off the power. Open the door. Remove the vent. Behind the latch is a two wire switch. press the red button on it until it clicks. reassemble and turn on power. It over heated when the power went off by stopping the cooling fan.

GE Oven JTP15BW Broil Element on, Bake Element off during baking.

I have the same problem. Just swap the 2 wires that are marked as 'broil' and 'bake' on the controller board. But sometimes it switches back, then I have to swap the wires again.

You might want to leave the 'broil' post unconnected to prevent burning food..

Oven temp wil not go above 250°

First, how did you clean it, with an automatic cleaning cycle or by hand?

First thing to do, unplug it from any wall power for 10 to 30 minutes, it may reset itself. Do that regardless if you hand cleaned, whatever.

If you hand cleaned, unplug the unit, or while it is attempting to reset, and check by gently pushing on the elements in the oven, you may have pulled one out of it's connection point in the back and causing a high resistance connection, also look for a thermostat that may have been moved or damaged during the cleaning, there is a sensor in the oven somewhere, and it sends back the data on temperature, make sure it did not get moved into or out of an airstream, or unplugged partially also.

Something had to have been moved or broken while cleaning accidently it is too much of coincidence.

If nothing works after these attempts, write me at wbwill@sbcglobal.net and give me more data on the unit and I will try and look up some more trouble shooting ideas for you.
