I'm not using WiFi, but the principle is the same if the issue is "PC Not Available" when you press the "Scan to PC" button, with USB, Ethernet, or WiFi connected printers.

Left click on the up arrow at the right hand side of the tool bar by the clock to show the "Hidden Icons." Right click on the icon for the Samsung printer, and select the
The scan to pc needs the path set properly. In my case, it was to "My Documents," but the "Scan and Fax Manager."

Click on the center top option for "Set Scan Button." Look at the right hand box for the destination listed. Mine was "My Documents."

Now look down half way in the window to the left for "Scan Property." Note the "Save Location" that is listed. In my case it was "My Scans," which is a sub folder of "My Documents" but the printer could not connetect to the sub folder. So, I clicked on the yellow folder to the right to select a different path. On the pop up window, click on its yellow folder and select the "My Documents" folder under the proper user's name, and then click okay. The path should now read c:\User\<username here>\Documents. Click okay.

Now when you press the Scan to PC button, it can find the path to the standard windows folder and not give the error of "PC Not Available."
The troubleshooting guide said to simply check the port. LOL. I'll work on seeing if I can get a sub folder to work later, but for now it's working okay. Hope this helps someone.

    What the fukkkkk, this program messes up the text so what I typed is all over the place. The solution make no sense with text having been moved from where it was entered..... this needs fixed!

    To clarify,

    Open the Scan and Fax Manager program and set the paths to match what is shown up top in for the destination, and down below for the save location. If not the same, it won't connect to the PC.

    UPDATE:

    Verify destination and save to are the same folders in the Scan and fax manager.

    Add scan2pc.exe to firewall "allow all"

    Set compatability to "Run as Administrator"

    Set compatability to "XP" all users.

    Double click scan2pc.exe to run.

    Nothing will happen when you double click it that you can see.

    Reboot PC and turn off and back on the printer.

    When you PC boots up, the scan2pc.exe program will ask permission to run. Click okay.

    Try the Scan to PC function... should be okay now.

Uninstall all of the software and then reinstall it. If still issues contact Brother tech support for assistance. They are really wonderful and will get you up and running. Your wifi is working so the router is not an issue. Check out your usb cable and try another one or a different usb port on computer.

I can not connect wirelessly


I have had this problem before and I had to go under WiFi settings and forget my WiFi. I let it scan again for service and reentered my WiFi network information. This worked for me most of the time. However, it could be your WiFi itself. Can you connect anything else to your WiFi?

Unable to connect to wifi it just says scanning


make sure your wifi network is turned on, then open your tablet's wifi and search for it. it should be fine, if not, contact Toshiba for tech help.

Make sure your wifi card is enabled. Most laptops have a switch or function key that will turn the card on or off. If it's active, make sure you have the drivers installed. If you bought your laptop used or just had your OS reinstalled, the drivers may not come with it and will need to be downloaded from Sylvania's website from a computer with a working internet connection.

The first thing that I would advise you to do is,



Uninstall the WiFi Adapter totally from the System first,



(For WIndows XP)

Right-Click on my computer Icon, Properties-->Hardware-->Device Manager,



select the WiFi Adapter under network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall



Next, Click on Action on that Same page, and select "scan for hardware changes",


This will bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Wifi Adapter).



(For WIndows Vista)

Right-Click on my computer Icon, go to



Properties-->>Device Manager, select the WiFi Adapter under network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall



Next, Click on Action on that Same page, and select "scan for hardware changes",



This will also bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Wifi Adapter).



After this, Press your Wifi button on the system and ensure that it is On, then Scan for wireless networks.



It should connect like that.



Try this out and kindly let me know how it goes,
