This page has all the information and links for downloading all the drivers (software) you'll need to set this up at home. It even gives complete pictures of what to hook up where - it makes using it so easy!
Seriously, this was the first wireless router I've ever used, and the Linksys site made it completely do-able.
That link has downloads for all the information, even PDF files for your router. You just have to choose the version (and the page will show you exactly where to find the version for your router on the label at the back).
Good luck, and post again if this doesn't work for you - merry Christmas!

Generally routers have firmware that can be downloaded and updated
occasionally and can be configured from a browser such as Internet
Explorer and have documentation and the like on a CD. Any applications
on the CD are generally not required -- they may be alternative
configuration tools. Sometimes routers support wired access using a USB port which may require drivers - this is not one of those routers. Wireless adapters (USB or PCI, or built-in) generally require software on the computer not provided as part of the router it is provided with the adapter and can often be downloaded.
The manuals on the following link require Adobe Reader (free). If needed it can be gotten at the following link using the Get Adobe Reader button
The information including solutions from the linksys website can be found at the following link. There is an updating firmware link at the bottom of the page that explains what to do with the firmware. You may want to bookmark this in your browser for future reference
click "Click Here" under downloads
Select your router version as indicated
Access the downloads as required.
The GPL code is for programmers or the curious.
Then remainder of the downloads are probably documentation / manuals. ( I did not review all versions)
How to configure a router is a more difficult issue. In some cases your internet service provider may have requirements that must be gotten from their support site. If you provide the name or support site for your internet service provider I may be able to assist in determining those requirements. Unless you are willing to share your internet connections with others around your home consideration should be made to secure the wireless communications. To do that will require knowing about the wireless adapters to be attached to the wireless router. This information will be based on the manufacturer and model of the adapters or computer with a built in adapter you will need to provide.
Please respond to this problem with the additional information requested and I will attempt to provide the next steps to setting up your router for use. There may be more questions before an answer is possible.
