I can hear the person I called but they can't hear me. When I receive a call I can hear them but they can't hear me. I have a Panasonic KX-TG1033S

If this is on all extensions then there is a problem with the transmitter in the phones base station. The lowest cost repair for this is to just buy a new phone.

How do I change the ring back to a longer time.

The installer sets that amount of time in the main system box. For business it's typically set for two minutes (129s) or three minutes (180s), for residence it's usually set for more time, three or more minutes. Panasonic calls it the "Hold Recall time." It's not set in the phone, it's a system wide setting.

How can I make conference call or joint call fron vtech cordless phone

To make two-party call on your Panasonic phone and ask the person on the other line to wait for a moment.
  • Check to see if your Panasonic phone has a flash key feature. If it does, press the flash key down and wait until you hear the confirmation tone. If the Panasonic phone you're using does not have a flash key, hold down the the hook switch for half a second, then release. Dial the number of the third person in your conference call. If you're inviting someone in-house to be a part of your conference call, dial their extension number instead. If you're dialing an outside line you may need to dial 9 before dialing the number.

  • Wait for the new addition to the conference call to answer and then press the Flash key again. Wait an additional two or three seconds before pressing the number three on your telephone keypad. Start your conference call. Once you've pressed the flash key followed by the number 3, as in Step 4, your conference call is established. If you wish to add additional participants simply repeat Steps 3 and 4.

On incoming calls rings once then stops then person calls again comes thru. also after talking sometime u can hear the system dialing? there are 7 phones in the house one has the FWD light on? could...

The first symptom of an incoming call ringing once then stopping is called trip and ring which is caused by a partial short on the phone line. The second symptom is called crosstalk caused by the two phone lines being shorted to each other. The service provider is most often the cause of these troubles. Often this type of trouble happens during wet weather or shortly after. The third symptom of static on the line cna also be caused by the same conditions. All three symptoms are likely caused by the same trouble from the service provider. Advise you report the trouble to your service provider.

Brand new installed Panasonic KX-TDA50 system looses time and date like every third day back to the month of September and time needs to be reset every three days. Any ideas?

if you get a caller ID card installed on your system, the phone system will be able to correct it's time whenever you recieve a call... otherwise it should NOT be doing that

    Can't make outside phone calls

#1. I discovered that satellite phones were too far away from base, so I moved them closer to the base.

#2. I unplugged all 3 satellites from electrical outlet, waited 10-15 mins., replugged them, and VOILA! Problem solved!

    Thank you for answering.

    Only rings one time

when someone calls, the phone rings only one time. calling other people works normally. Is this due to a lack of sufficient current to activate the bells of the three telephones we have in the house?

Cannot call out or answer a call

The only thing I can think of is you may be in the wrong dial mode. If you do not have touch tone service you will hear the tones but it will not connect. Try setting it to pulse and see if you can call out. Check you volume or see if the mute has been set. Have you tried a different phone? you might want to borrow a phone from a neighbor to see if it is a service problem or just your phone.
