I made the mistake of inserting a SD card diredtly into the card slot now cannot open door Manual says to use card adaptor which was not in box with printer. If the card is jammed in the slot, you may damaged the card removing it but will be better then not being able to use the functions of the card reader.
You will need to find a Forceps or better known as roach clip to remove the card from reader. Again the card may be damaged as the shell is a plastic base and the Forceps is metal.
Or you may want to stop at your local radio shack and see if they have a thin long nose pliers.

If it s stuck ..it means that its hooked on something ...use something sharp ..like a needle to try to release any lock or ...snap that it might have and would not work cause of the card...you will have probably to force it a little ...after that if the card is stuck inside...use a pincers( tweezers like ) instrument and get it out ...see that it also might be hooked into some points that normaly lock the card in place ...use a needle too
keep in mind that the lock is on the side that the door opens...there you have to insert the sharp object for to unlock

Well you can use a pin picker to remove your card from the slot, first of all try using a pin picker do not try to open it may be it causes some damage to the unit. pin picker is the better option to remove the card.
