Question about Bosch Nexxt WTMC 3300 Electric Dryer
I have the same problem. Any suggestions?
E01 is prompted when overheating is detected. The problem is usually caused by poor ventilation but a fault is also possible.
First double check the exhaust and go through the troubleshooting prescribed in the manual.
Disconnect power and allow cool down for at least 3 minutes. Check filter and duct. Make sure that there is enough ventilation. Check length and setting of the duct. See page 14 in this manual.
if E01is still on display, then there may be a faulty part. Parts that may be responsible are the temperature sensor or the control module. The technician will test the sensor reading impedance. If the sensor is open (impedance stays on infinity), then the part must be replaced. If the sensor is OK the technician will test wiring in a similar way and then go for the control module.
If you need to book a qualified technician please call the number listed on the owner manual.
