Perhaps the ink cartridges were installed in the wrong place. Remove the cartridges and install each color in the place indicated. Check user manual for more information about this issue.

This sounds odd. Anyway, if printer prints, there's nothing wrong with printer detection.

First and foremost, what type of paper and color of paper are you using? What text/image color do you have in your file being printed?

Prints black and white fine, but when printing color photos, wrong colors are used and/or only half the picture is printed. The second half sometimes comes out on the next sheet of paper. Nozzles aren't...

The color printer might not print in color due to dirt and other unwanted particles present in the printer. Due to this unwanted particles, the ink used for printing and other materials might become blocked inside the printer device and this might lead to some printing issues. In order to resolve this issue, regular cleaning of the printer is necessary.

The colors are coming out incorrectly.

You need to do a nozzle check print first to see that all the colors are coming out ok. If you hold the resume button until the green light flashes twice, it will print the test pattern. If colors are missing you may need a new printhead. Generic inks are sometimes the wrong color, and in this printer you shouldn't have any photo inks, as they are not the right color for your printer.

HP DesignJet 500PS mixed ink color in tubing

Hi

Think this should be fairly easy. If it's still printing quite happily but just th colours are off, probably means your print heads are fine. Hold onto the new ones and return to store for credit.

All you cand do to flush out the system is to keep printing. Belt out a couple of phots and it should start to come good maybe 1-2 photos maybe 5-6. But should come good.

Regards

P.S.: refer to manual that you do now have all the rite tanks in the rite place.

Color ink is TERRIBLE!

I think you are printing on the wrong side of the paper. Try flipping it over when you put it in.

The printer colors are not come out right.

Go to this link. Type "print nozzle test" in the search box and click Search. Perform a nozzle test, and if the colors match what are on the instructions, your print head and inks are OK.

(1) If the print head and inks check out OK, type "wrong colors on print" in the search box, and you will see several troubleshooting steps you can try.

(2) If the nozzle test colors are off, confirm that you are using BCI-6 inks for all three colors and the small black tank. You should only have a BCI-3 tank in the large black position. If you have all the correct inks, your machine probably needs to be serviced/ repaired.
