Hi
1. Disconnect and Reconnect AC power adapter or power cord to the device and electrical source 2. Disconnect the power cord and wait approximately 10 minutes 3. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the multifunction device 4. Disconnect and reconnect the electrical cord to ensure a secure connection 5. Try a different electrical source / outlet
Here is a snip of my notes on the same subject for an Epson printer:
Well, first things first I guess:

1.Try the printer in a different outlet (other side of room, or similar, not same power Jack)
1.If you have power here, your issue is likely the outlet, not the printer.
2.If the power cord has an "on" LED, check to see if it is lit up while plugged in.
1.If you have an LED with no light while it is plugged in, you are looking at a power adapter that is no longer working
3.If there is no "on" LED to check, your next best bet is to take your printer and power cord to a store that sells printers, and ask if you can "try" a new chord before buying it. (most stores will allow this to keep customers happy)
4.You may also want to check with the manufacturer if the chord is found to be bad, as some will send replacements free of charge.
5.The last option is that there is an issue inside the printer. This is not likely, though it is possible. Most printers have an external power adapter that keeps any power issue outside of the printer, (It would be a black box between the plug and printer.)
1.This can also be checked by "testing" a new chord at a store. New chord, still no power, internal issue.
Thanks for contacting Fixya.com

Dell 810 giving Incompatible Ink Cartridge error message

Hi try these steps

STEP: Disconnect and Reconnect the Printer Power Supply
Top of Form 1
Bottom of Form 1

Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
Disconnect the power supply from the back of the printer.
Wait 15 seconds.
Reconnect the power supply to the back of the printer.
Plug the power cord back into the wall socket

STEP: Clean the Contacts and Wick the Ink Cartridge
Ensure the printer is powered on.

Lift the scanner unit.

Open the cartridge latches and remove the cartridges from the carrier
Take a clean, damp cloth and wipe the nozzle of the print cartridge from front to back.
Turn the cartridge so that you are looking at the contacts on the back side of the cartridge
Using a clean dry cloth, wipe the contacts so that no dust or other contaminants are visible
Clean the contact inside the printer with the dry cloth used to clean the cartridge contacts.

Replace the cartridges in the carrier and close the scanner unit.
STEP: Verify Each Cartridge Carrier Has an Ink Cartridge
Check to make sure the left cartridge carrier contains a black or photo ink cartridge.
Check to make sure the right carrier contains a color ink cartridge.
Remove each cartridge and examine it to make sure the protective tape has been removed from the contacts and the print head.
Replace each cartridge in the proper carrier.

Let me know the status.

Dell 810 not printing

Dear chibihamster, It seems that there is some loose connection in your printer. If you have a little knowledge in hardware, please open your printer carefully, check all the connected cable specially the printer head connector. The best way is that disconnect the printer head cable and reconnect it again. Do not do anything in your scanner circuit area, otherwise it will create you more problems. If this doesn't solve your problem, please contact the manufacturer. GOOD LUCK!!

New installation 810, printer works A1, scanner won't work

Uninstall and reinstall the software. Normally the software installed on the computer controls the scanner functions for the all in one dell stuff. Check dells site also for any updates that might correct this issue.
