SOURCE: turning the wheel does not turn in the game

Hi,
You might want to call the Logitech Customer Care, try on another computer, if the problem persist, then you should get a replacement for hardware failure. This is covered by warranty terms.

Thanks and have a nice day

2009 saturn aura hard steering I was told that the steering motor moduel was bad so I replaced it still hard to steere what could it be

Who told you , was it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes ? Rather then just replacing parts why don't you take it to a qualified repair shop . Besides , the new module need's Programming and Setup , and a factory scan tool to do it .
Steering Position Sensor Calibration
Install the scan tool.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Center the steering wheel.
With the scan tool select Special Functions.
Select Steering Position Sensor Calibration and press the Enter key. The scan tool screen will flash Calibration in Progress then display Calibration Complete.
Press the exit key.
Use the scan tool in order to clear any EPS DTCs.

How do you reset a stering angle sensor

did you read the FSM/
it covers all that, and more.
or at alldata.com
did you follow all steps, including the Match marking?

ill try to find it....

here is the page that tells you what went wrong.
A service replacement clockspring is shipped with the clockspring pre-centered and with a molded plastic locking pin installed.
This locking pin should not be removed until the steering wheel has been installed on the steering column. If the locking pin is removed before the steering wheel is installed, the clockspring centering procedure must be performed.
When a clockspring is installed into a vehicle without properly centering and locking the entire steering system, the Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) data does not agree with the true position of the steering system and causes the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) system to shut down.
This may also damage the clockspring without any immediate malfunction.
Unlike some other Chrysler vehicles, this SAS never requires calibration.
However, upon each new ignition ON cycle, the steering wheel must be rotated slightly to initialize the SAS.
Determining if the clockspring/SAS is centered is also possible electrically using the diagnostic scan tool.
Steering wheel position is displayed as ANGLE with a range of up to 900degrs.
Refer to the appropriate menu item on the diagnostic scan tool.
Before starting this procedure, be certain to turn the steering wheel until the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position and that the entire steering system is locked or inhibited from rotation.

The clockspring may be centered and the rotor may be rotated freely once the steering wheel has been removed.
(at the least, read the rack R&R pages first)

Hi...I just bought the Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel and pedals...the pedals work fine, the buttons ON the steering wheel work fine...but the actual steering part DOES NOT work..so I can...

-Check if the connections are plugged in properly -Does the wheel calibrate (turn left and right and then centres) when you turn on the wheel. -Doe the game support the wheel? - Plug the DFGT into the USB port 1 of the console AFTER you turn on the console. So turn on the console and then plug in the DFGT into the USB port 1 and turn it on.
ALSO if you are using the DFGT for pc, make sure you install the "Logitech Gaming Software" from the logitech website =

Steering hand controls for Philips DC479 rds

If you have a aftermarket cd player installed you have to get something called a wireless controller. Basicly it hooks up to you steering wheel controls and you program your remote to you wireless controller and it sends a signle just like your remote when you use the steering wheel controls. Hope this helps, good ratings help me out. Have a good day.

Force gt wheel doesnt steer, everything else works fine?

The wheel should be plugged in and powered up before turning on the PS3. While booting the wheel should go through its full range of motion and the horn button light will stop blinking and stay on steady. If the light doesn't stop blinking the wheel failed to calibrate and is probably defective. I had to exchange mine and did end up getting one that worked this time.

Steering backwards

Maybe it got calibrated backwards, so know the wheel guesses that right is left and left is right... you might need to look at the CONTROL PANEL / GAME CONTROLLERS to find a way to calibrate it right...
