Hi i have a jvc grd250u mini video camera

im trying to find what size ieee 1394 firewire plug to use 4 pin or 6 pin
how can i find out i would like to connect video camera to my computer which is a compaq persario can you help? any info is greatly appreciated.

Try googling IEEE 1394 and accessing the Wikipedia site. It shows a picture of both. The 6 pin is decidedly larger and of a different shape.

hello, just locate at the back near the DC plug-ins, it has the usb and the 1394 or fire wire connector. hope this will help
