Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I have an Acer 5738Z. It is supposed to have blu-ray, but it will not read a blu-ray disc.
Normal DVDs are fine.
The model of the DVD drive is Optiarc AD-7580S, which as far as I can tell is not a blu-ray drive. Am I right?
Here is the specs on that drive .. it does not support blu-ray ... so you are right .. looks like acer gave you the wrong drive .. hopefully they will replace it with the correct one .. you can burn DVDs with this drive so its a nice unit, just the wrong one ..
