SOURCE: my oven door does not close tight

If you can access the side, the springs can be adjusted to more tension, just move lower end to different position

SOURCE: Oven door isn't closed tightly on both sides.

If it is a door that lifts up and down, then the only solution is to replace both door hinges, as they are not normally adjustable, it is the springs that are weak.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: oven door won't stay tightly shut

Oven door hinges are not adjustable, assuming you have fitted the door back correctly, and it is still not closing properly, then the only solution is to replace the door hinges.

We just purchased a home that was built in 2003. It has a stainless steel double oven. The doors don't close tight. Is there a way to adjust them so they do? Thanks

I have the same problem on my AOCS3040 oven....door will not shut tightly so it loses heat and is about 25 degrees off plus the escaped heat makes the control panel get very hot during cooking.
