I understand you wish to disable the mic ?
Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select 'Recording Device'
Click on your mic to highlight it and click 'Properties'
Disable mic at lower dropbox and click 'Save'
Restart computer.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If you are happy with it running on a different OS try running it in Compatibility Mode
Right click on the desktop camera icon
Select 'Properties'
Select 'Compatibility' tab
Check the CM mode box and select the OS from the dropdown box
Click 'Apply' & 'OK'

It is possible your webcam is either disabled or the driver is corrupted. Try reloading the webcam software driver, reboot, and then try the free webcam test tool to check if it is working properly.

Where do i found in a website a webcam driver? ,my web cam is logitec

Logitech has the Windows drivers for their webcams at their site.
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/435/3056&hub=1&selectedcrid=435&selectedcid=3056&cl=us,en?section=downloads

Just pick your OS (XP, Vista or 7)

I hope this helps.

What pc is it? Laptop /desktop, mac/pc,os is windows or mac? vista, xp, etc?
probably a driver problem, but would be helpful to know the pc environment.

make sure the following INF installed in %windir%\inf?

* usb.inf
* wdmaudio.inf
* wdma_usb.inf

The usb.inf is likely missing. Download it and place it in the windows\inf folder. Then remove all logitech drivers and software and re-install.

Hello!

Logitech does not support Quick Cam Pro 9000 on MAC OS. The only two supported operating systems are Windows XP and Windows Vista.

You might go with a bit more expensive Quick Cam Vision Pro that is supported on Mac.

Not getting audio

Logitech states its 9000 hardware & software is Windows only
Doesnt mean it definitely is, but there may be bugs. try a separate microphone.
