Question about DeLonghi Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
Dump the water out of it and put in a mixture of 71% white vinegar-25% water. Let it soak for at least one hour. This will soften any deposits in the system. Flush it with plain water 2 or 3 times, to remove the vinegar taste. This is totally harmless and will not harm you if it isn't all rinsed out, like the caustic cleaners will. This is the method we used in out factory service appliance center. It works with steam irons also.
