It has (2) 8 amp 250 volt ceramic fuses, slow burn, 5mm x 20mm that needs to be replaced. they cost about $1.00 - $3.00 each. Just take off the back cover (make notes of where the 4 different types of screws go!!!) and look just above where the plug goes into the tv. A set of needlenose pliers will easily remove the fuses.

AFTER FEW POWER OUTAGES, FREEZER TEMPERATURE KEEPS BOUNSING BETWEEN 5 AND 20 DEGREES, REFRIGIRATOR SEEMS TO WORKING FINE AND KEEPS TEMPERATURE.

Check the cabinet temperature with an independent thermometer. If it is does keep a stable temperature the problem would probably be electronic.

A power outage is often accompanied by a voltage surge. Sensitive electronics and computers can be damaged by a voltage surge. People are used to protecting personal computers with surge protectors but fail to realise these days almost everything is a computer or contains a computer. Radios and tv sets are computers and so are cars and even the humble toaster these days has some computing power.
Today almost everything but the cheapest of appliances should be protected. A minimum surge protection can be obtained by using an area surge protector.

Why do I lose my recording schedule when I turn TV off? If TV is on Humax records perfectly.

Do you have a power strip or surge protector that recognizes when the power is disabled to the primary item, it automatically disables power to all other items? Easy way to check is to turn tv off and look for lights on other items plugged into surge protector.

Had power surge. Tv was on surge protector. Now no power will come on and just makes a buzzing sound.

Have you tried plugging it in without the surge protector? I would wager that either a) the surge protector needs to be reset/turned on and off depending on the model or b) either your TV and/or surge protector have been damaged by the power surge.

Try plugging the TV straight into the outlet and see if that helps.

I had to unplug my tv today (actually the TV is plugged into a surge protector, so I unplugged the surge protector.) when I plugged the surge protector back in the TV wouldn't go on (acts as if its...

There should be a surge release button on the surge protector to bring the protector back to normal (should be red in color) Some surge protection devices have this option so just check if your s has it. If that is not the case than I think that you might have blown a fuse in your TV.Might just have to open it up and change the fuse within with the same ratings, but please be careful because do have high voltages so get an experienced technician to do this for you.
Good Luck.

No power either!!

Unplug the surge protector and plug the tv in directly to an outlet that you know is working, plug something else in first to be sure.

you may find that your surge protector is shot. if it is toss it and get a new one.

First thing I'd check is the powerbar. Did you plug the TV into the outlet direct? What caused the breaker to trip? If it was an overload by using too much current, there is a possibility that there is a loose connection in your house wiring causing arcing and the interiference lines you're seeing on the display. You may even want to try the set in a different outlet if the powerbar checks ok, and if the set then works fine, get an electrican ASAP!
