Green Squares Ruin Everything!!

So Ive had my camera for like 4 years now. I used it about a week ago with no problems. However the next day I went to use it and all it does is show me green squares on the screen, makes an annoying shutter like noise and doesn't take a picture... Any ideas?

It is possible the battery is getting old. It has a rechargable lithium battery that, after 4 years, may loose it's charge very quickly, even after a couple of shots.

If this is not the problem then it is an internal problem, possibly the software. Unfortuately the canon website does not have a solution in their support and service site page, but here is the webpage incase you want to search it yourself. You might be able to send them a question, seems they would be the best people to ask.

I have two large spots on my screen on red one blue what is it? How can i fix it ?

Got the same problem with PT-61-LCX65 that was bought 4 years ago in 2006 - first red spot appeared, then few weeks ago got green one nearby. Fixed it for free.
I called Panasonic using the phone number in the manual (1-888-843-9788), selected Service, told that I got the problem which is most probably "a manufacturer's defect" that should be fixed for free - they redirected me to the next step, then to the next one and in about 20 minutes they arranged me a home-visit by a support person (the guy had to drive 2 hours to get here!). Everything went _very_ smoothly, I am very satisfied with Panasonic's support, it was just one call with few redirections.
The service guy came in two days, unscrewed the back panel, connected some kind of a box to one of the boards (eprom programmer?), turned TV onto some channel and let the box do its job for about 5 minutes - then all of a sudden the spots disappeared and the picture is OK now. The service guy told me that the overall picture quality should have been also improved all across the screen, I guess TV sends some kind of feedback to that box for optimization.
It was a free service, the service guy mentioned something about law action and that Panasonic is required to fix that for free.

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.
