Question about TCi Manual Projector Screen
OK this is what you have to do. Think of it as a window blind. Pull at the center about a half an inch and let up slowly. If this does not work try a little more and more. Be careful not to pull to hard. It's going to be pull and let go action until the spring lever gives. You might even try one person on each side, the only problem with this is you tend not to get an even pull causing your screen to retract unevenly. What I found with manual projector screens they all have this problem. The trick is not to open it up all the way until it breaks in. Don't open the top assembly as you could open up a can of worms. Two choices might be to permanently install it on a wall using the studs. Find out if it is still under warranty. Hope this helps. Sorry for your luck. Let me know if I can help you out with anything else.
