You need to know the sizes of the belt. If you do not know then Marrs Communication will have the set at a higher price. If you know the sizes as maybe PRB cross reference Pdf can tell you, then you can order belts from Consolidated Electronics for cheaper. The consolidated Electronics is in Ohio and delivers the goods for cheaper on a regular basis. I have ordered $1000 of belts from Steve Coy over the last year in my business.

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT TWIN CASSETTE DECK AIWA AD-WX727 ON EBAY AND TRYING TO WORK IT. BOTH CASSETTE PLAYERS ARE WORKING O.K BUT WILL NOT RECORD CAN YOU HELP. I HAVE FOLLOWED THE MANUAL BUT NO JOY.

It is often a bad idea to buy dual cassette type decks. They never work very well except for one unit I have seen which was the Sony ES model. It was not cheap at $1200 a unit. You might get it to work but the performance of these is poor even when new. Avoid dual cassette deck at all costs.

I have a nsx-9000 cassette deck will not play.

Make a note of how the belt fits, then remove it and measure the diameter. Then buy a replacement, belts do go bad from time to time, so a new one might cure the problem. Put the diameter size (to the nearest mm result, IE: 50 or 55mm, not 52mm! Into google and "cassette belt" and you should find one for the job.

Aiwa cassette deck won't eject

I had this problem on an AD-S40. Turned out to be the drive belts, which had stretched, resulting in the fact that the motors couldn't drive the mechanism through it's various load cycles of opening/closing the captain roller, etc. as required to operate the mechanism. Stuck in mid-cycle, the doors would not open.

After removing the case cover, you can turn the belt driven wheels by hand to complete the cycle, so that you can eject. Then get new belts (several outfits sell belts based on length, on line). You don't need to do much to replace the belts -- after unlocking and getting the tape out, it was only a couple of screws to remove the mechanism, as a unit, and there is no need to fuse with the circuit boards and such. Easier than I expected.
