Re: Signal is good one second and then it is absolutely...

It is need to look at the box and see if the tri-band on the phone is 900/1800/1900mhz or 850/1800/1900.

now you also need to know which band your carrier is working on...the you will have the signal.

My ZTE Majesty no longer recognizes WiFi signals. It stopped about 2 weeks ago when I was in the hospital. It says that WiFi is on but it cannot see any active networks regardless of where I go.

First try to turn off the device completely. If the battery can be removed, take it out and wait 30 seconds.
Put the phone back together and turn it on.
Once it is on and ready to use, turn off your wifi and wait a few seconds. Turn the wifi back on. Make sure you are in a location that you are absolutely sure wifi is available. Generally wifi reception is good for about 150 feet on many devices, but may be shorter.

If the problem continues, it may be hardware related, in which fixya may not be able to assist you with. You may need to contact your cell phone provider for further assistance.

Cell phone not working

More than likely the antenna has gone bad on your phone or you may just have a bad sim card. Try borrowing a sim card from another phone that uses the same service you have and power up your phone with it. Then try it out in different places to see if you get good signal or not. If its good then you just need to replace your sim card and don't forgot to give back the borrowed sim. If its the phone/antenna then its time to replace the phone.
