Re: Volume control

You can turn the earpiece sound up, but I think you have to do it when you receive a call. The < and > keys on the side of the phone turns it up or down, you will see some circles to indicate how high or low it is set at.

On the left hand side, there is a slider and two buttons below it, press the upper button to increase the volume. If that doesn't help take it to an authorised apple centre and let them help you.

When im no the phone i can barely hear the other person. Unless im on speaker phone then i can hear fine

maybe by mistake you reduce the volume on the iphone.

try the following during a call press on the right control up volume to see if that improve your sound.

if that doesn't work you should go to an apple store or your cell provider.

I had the same problem with that phone... while manipulating the mobile part (cover) you can slightly improve the volume.
Another point to check is the button on the side of the phone which allows to increase or lower the volume: it could happen that you turn the volume low without noticing it...
My solution was to replace the phone.

Can't hear caller

The earpiece speaker has gone bad. Unless you have access to a replacement speaker and can solder you will have to take the phone to you nearest Motorola service center.
