Either you've somehow interrupted the print and it's thinking that the information is text or you have the incorrect printer driver. Delete everything from the print queue rebott the printer and computer. If it still happens it's the driver.

Printer will print a document but when it reaches halfway it stops printing. Only way to finish printing the document is to restart my pc. Why does this happen? Can this problem be resolved?

When you restart your PC does the printing continue from where it had abruptly stopped printing or does the printer print a fresh copy .
In any case the clean the Print Cartridge Carry Assembly Mount Rod and try freeing up more space on your PC hard Disk for spooling the print data

Why can't I print to my Ricoh Aficio SP C430DN from my Macbook Air?

You probably have a conflict between the paper size the machine knows is loaded and the document size being specified for printing on. Your Airbook is probably trying to send a document on a paper size the printer doesn't have. Net result is a document stored in the print queue that stops anything else being printed. Go full system reboot and clear out any and all waiting documents before trying again.

Lexmark interact S605 has document blocking any further printing and even when I have unblocked previously the next document still blocks

If you're having problem with print jobs getting stuck in the print queue, it could be due to your computer's print spooler service not running. Try the steps below to fix the problem:
  1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)
  2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
  3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service)

Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

MY LASER PRINTER KEEPS PRINTING WING DINGS

You need to go into the document or driver and select a new font.

Normally, this is a driver issue because the driver will control what fonts are selected on the hardware.

Sometimes, however, the printer's default font has been changed. This will cause the same problem. Check the printer properties and make sure you have the correct font selected.

I started to print a document and noticed it was 18 pages and canceled the printing. Now the printer won't print and the button next to the on/off button just flashes when I try to print something. What do...

I'm not sure why your printer stopped in the first place, but one reason why it won't print is because the print queue is blocked with old document requests.

Try going into your printer properties and remove all documents listed in the print queue.

(Start - Printer/faxes) - default printer - RMB - Properties).

I keep getting the message that my canon mp360 is off-line when I attempt to print.

This could be a couple of things but this is the quickest easiest fix so we will try this first go to start then go to your control panel go to printers and faxes once there you should see your printer name right click on it and make sure that it says use printer offline in the drop down menu if it says use printer online left click on use printer online and that will most likely fix your problem if you have done this step and still having problems turn your volume up a little unplug your printers usb cable you should hear some dings if not its ok now Plug your USB back into your computer wait a couple of seconds you should hear some dings try printing something se if it works (you may or may not hear dings depending on your volume settings) if it's not printing or dinging take the usb plug back out the back of your computer and try another usb port if you still hear no dings and it's still not printing switch usb cords it is likely that the cord is bad
