All fonts are stored in the "Win32" folder under the "System" category.

If I understand you correctly you want to produce cards that look handwritten but are actually printed. If your using a PC/Mac and an standard printer you could just use one of the many fonts available for your word processor. For instance the TTF (True Type Font) called "Amazone BT" will produce this:-

There are number of other similar fonts available too. have a look at the list of fonts in your word processor or check out online.

To work around this issue, reduce the complexity of your PostScript print job. For example, set the TrueType Font Download option to Automatic, Outline, or Bitmap as follows:
  1. In Control Panel, open the Printers (or Printers and Faxes) folder.
  2. Right-click your PostScript printer, and then click Properties.
  3. Click Printing Preferences, click Layout, and then click Advanced.
  4. Double-click PostScript Options, and then click TrueType Font Download Option.
  5. In the True Type Font Download Option box, click Automatic. If Automatic is already selected, click Outline or Bitmap.
  6. Close the Printer Properties dialog box, and then close Control Panel.
hope this helps you.. please vote.. thanks

How do you change print size words bigger on an kodak 5200 printer

There is another way to increase the Print font size of your printout. If you are using Microsoft Office, click on the change font size drop down and select the font size you desire. If the document is already typed, select the sentences you want to enlarge before the steps above.

Cannot print, i've already change the ink, black and colored.

Check all cables to and from the computer. Also check that the electrical cable is connected to the wall outlet. Be sure that all cables are securely connected and in the right locations and turn the printer on.
Step 2Try to print a test page. Click "Start", "Control Panel" and "Printers". Right click the printer. On the "General" tab click "Print a Test Page". Click "OK" if the printer prints the test page correctly. If not, follow the onscreen directions for trouble shooting.
Step 3Open Notepad and type some text into the window. Select "File" and "Print". Select the printer that you are trying to print to and print. If it prints, copy and paste the text into program is giving you problems. Try to print again, if again it doesn't print, then a corrupt font may be the problem. Reinstall the font.

When I print out articles or emails the font is very small(tough to read) I can increase the font on my computer, but I want to print the bigger font size . I have an HP Photosmart4700

You can only change the font in the software that you are making your documents with or with your email try changing the font type and size. This is the only way to adjust the size of your font.

How do I get my printer to print in larger text

You need to change the size of the text on your computer in order for it to print in larger text. You didn't say what you are using to print text so it's kind of hard to tell you exactly what to do. If you are using Microsoft Word or almost any word processor, you will need to change your font size to something bigger. If you are changing something that you've already typed, you can highlight or select what you have typed and change it's font size. Hopefully this is enough to help you. If you need further help, please let us know what software you are using to create your documents. Good luck!

Everytime that I try to print a document, I am getting a lot of boxes. I am not getting the words printed that I need.

Hi Goody2Shoes6, what a great nickname!

If the boxes are a rectangle for every letter, try changing the font, especially if the printer is an old model and the font is recent, if it does it for every font, type up a letter (or type =rand(3) in word and it will put some blurb up for you) then press the Alt key at same time Print Scrn key. Then open paint and go to edit menu / paste. go File Print preferences and set the page to 1 by 1 pages, File / Print preview, if good Print.

The printer should print it, as it is taking it as a picture file, if that same font won't print straight from word (and gives you little squares) it means the printer doesn't have that font listed in it's memory

If it is the case, buy a new printer, or use an older font that works.

:-)

Fonts and sizes are typically controlled by the application you are using. Are you sure you are increasing the font size? I've had some users confused by the zoom feature which is more like a magnifying lens. It just makes thing larger for viewing purposes and does not affect the print size. To change the actual font size of a document already created you would first highlight the text in the document. In Word (other applications are similar) you would then select Format from the main menu bar, then select Font. In the next box that appears you would click on the Font tab, and then in the Size field select a larger font size. After that click on OK and you should see your font size change. Let us know if that was your problem or not.
