Question about Fargo Persona C10 Thermal Printer
The take in roller stopped moving. I want to fix the source of the problem. The printer is a Fargo Persona C10 Thermal printer.

Tips for a great answer:
Solution to loud noises:
Check the ribbon cartridge and ensure that the cleaning roller is properly installed and rolls smoothly
inside the cartridge. Then check the plate underneath the cleaning roller and verify the 4 pins are seated properly.
Solutions to blurry prints:
1. Make sure the printer has the latest firmware via the web. >> Click Here << to download the latest firmware (Look for "Persona C30e Firmware_Windows/Linux 18.104.22.168 "). The firmware upgrade file is packed in zip file. Extract it to a directory of your choice.
>> Click Here << for an instruction on how to upgrade the firmware. When being prompted to locate the "upgrade file", browse to where you extracted the firmware upgrade file.
2. Calibrate the ribbon sensor. If you have completed these 2 steps and the printer still prints out faded or light cards,
3. Try a new power supply. Part# (E000480). Note: Please verify the proper power supply is being used.
