Question about Gateway Computers & Internet
Hardrive capacity is based upon the operating system capabilities not your motherboard. If you are running Windows XP SP2 or later, you should be able to attach any sized IDE drive you want to that board with no problems. Just remember that you must be running XP Service Pack 2 or later to run a drive over 130 GB in size. If you try to XP or XP SP1, a larger drive will work but only 130 GB of it will be useable.
