Error on installing java games? i try to install a same game with the same phone, but my phone always saying that the download jar are invalid, while the oder phone installed the game correctly? please...

Hi,

before install games to your phone, make sure the java games (click to go free java games list) is compatible with your mobile phones, know your phone first especially entertainment capability features, including operation system or platform (like symbian, windows mobile, java mobile, flash etc), display screen resolution (like 128x160, 176x208, 176x220, 240x320, 320x240, 352x416 etc), 3D java support etc. (get free java games here) . If you get any sort of error, it's possible the games isn't compatible/or is not designed for your model. You will need to obtain a specific version for your model.

first of all Make sure the game is in a jar format (*.jar file) not a zipped file (*.zip or *.rar), most of games here are .jar format. If it has the zip or rar extension open the file in Winrar/winzip (download winrar) and look at its contents, if it has lots of files like a.class and image files then rename the *.rar (or *.zip) file as *.jar and transfer that to your phone. If in the zipped file it has a jar file and other files, extract just the jar file and transfer it to your phone. some phone models also need .jad format file to install the game, check out this post: Create .Jad file for .jar format Java games and apps, download any of .jad generator tools, create your .jad file and transfer .jar and .jad file to your phone.

When transferring the java games to your phone via usb cable, bluetooth, infrared, memory card (how to transfer photos, ring tones, games to your phone), the games and applications folder may not appear, this is normal. All you have to do is copy the file to the root directory (the main folder) and the phone will put the files into the correct places itself. There is no need to put the game in the others folder as it will just be a waste of time and the game will not work.

open/run the jar file to install the games, then enjoy it.

Mindicator software not properly downloaded on my samsung c3303 champ mobile. showing Java error.

Hi,
On Samsung we can not install the JAVA applications directly. For installing the same we need to have the ".JAD" file of the same java applications. Then we need to copy both the files on the phone and then we have to run the file .JAD.... in market there are many converters available which can convert the .JAR file into .JAD format...
Hope this has helped you.. Thanks....

I downloaded a couple games to my e71x, but can't find them. I can locate the games in the file manager. But It doesn't allow me to open them... anyone?

since you can locate the games but you can't open them,it seems d downloaded games format are of a format not supported by your phone.as a practical example, downloading a java game on a symbian phone that doesn't support java applications.you can check the applications of the games downloaded and download the applications that will enable the downloaded games to run perfectly on your phone for free at the address below

Nokia 6650 series 40/GSM wont support exe and zip files-help!

Your phone supports Java Configuration . It can support archive files. But if your phone doesn't support .zip files, then try java archives files like .jar(java archive) , .jad(java application descriptors) or .jnlp(java network launch protocol).
These are all executable in your mobile & you can browse & download ur mobile widgets or applications with these extensions. These are also lighter versions and easy to install.

I hope this info satisfies u

Sony Eriscon k550i

It is not possible to open a MS office application and a Zip file in SE K550i. But I think there are some java applications for opening MS Office filez and zip filez; I'vent tried them though they will not be pretty much useable in K550i. For better application support in ur mobile upgrade ur mobile phone to some high-end gadgets like windows mobile.
