SOURCE: Blurry picture

Try adjusting the focus ring around the lens. Poor quality try adjusting room lighting or you may need to upgrade to a better webcam.

Some of my pictures are blurry using a cannon rebel 3. how can i fix this problem?

There are several possible causes for blurry pictures.
1) Camera motion. If everything is blurry, it's most likely because the camera moved while the picture was being taken. Make sure your shutter speed is fast enough if you're handholding the camera (longer lenses require faster shutter speed). Alternatively, put your camera on a stable surface, such as a tripod or a tabletop.
2) Subject motion. If the subject is blurry but the background is sharper, then the subject may have moved while the picture was being taken. Use a faster shutter speed. Raise the ISO if needed. There are limits, of course. If you're trying to photograph a fast-moving object in the dark, you probably won't be able to.
3) Improper focus. If the subject is blurry but something else in the picture is sharp, then the camera probably focused on the wrong object. Move the focus selector to the subject you want in focus. Alternatively, center the viewfinder on the subject, press the shutter button halfway to lock focus, then reframe and shoot.
Without any more specific information as to what and how your pictures are blurry, I'm afraid the above is all I can give you.

Hi Pavel

Sorry but your camera needs to have the lens replaced. The drop onto the floor damaged it and the only way to fix it is to replace it. Wish I had better news for you.

Everytime i put a picture for the background on the desktop it doesnt come out clear its all fuzzy/blurry anyone know what's happenin?

It's because your resolution(size) of your desktop is larger than the resolution(size) of the picture. If for example you are running a resolution of 1280x1024 then a picture with the dimentions of 1280x1024 would fit perfectly and not be stretched. See my tip on setting the desktop background here for further details: http://www.fixya.com/support/r6775332-change_desktop_background_image

If you want a smaller image to be centered and not stretched then right click on your desktop and go to Properties. Then click on the Desktop tab. To the middle right there is a heading that says Position. Click the little selection to Center. This will center a smaller image instead of making it all blurry and stretched.

If you have tried using the auto setting and it is still doing the blurry pictures it sounds like a problem with your camera not the settings themselves.
This blog http://www.teleplancamerarepair.com/camera-repair-blog/post/Got-Blurry-Pictures-Blurry-Image.aspx suggests a couple of the reasons might be:
"When your image appears distorted and with altered colors, in most of the cases there are two possible reasons:
- The internal shutter gets stuck , does not open completely or
-
The image sensor is damaged.... "

Bakground of the photo is a bit blurry

this is, in most cases, a desired effect (bokeh) which is used to "detach" the subject from the background avoiding the viewer of the picture to be distracted by the background. This technique is widely used in portraits. This effect effect will be more pronounced when the lens is wide open (in your case it should be f/3.5 if I remember well...). To practice you may try the following: set you camera to "A" mode and take one picture of something (it should not be a landscape) using the smallest aperture after this take the same pic using the biggest aperture. With the lower f number you should get a blurry background and with the biggest the backgroud should be in focus!

Canon powershot s3 is digtal

This is a menu setting, in capture mode it is the slow synchro option I think. What it does is try to get the subject to have a lit background. Turn this off and you get a subject lit with flash and no background but no blurriness either.
